For some of us, purchasing a car is not a fun experience. We have to find the car we want, deal with salesman, and most importantly, figure out how to actually pay for it. Today we answer a question from a listener on the best way to replace two beater cars.

Driving a beater car is not a fun experience for anybody. So does it make sense to replace a beater car with a beater car? Or should you take out a payment and get a reliable car? Either way you are going to get a new car in the next few years. So why not be proactive and start to save up and pay for a car in cash and remove the risk of having a car payment from your life, instead of doing the easy thing; at least in the short term, and get a car payment.
